Brett McCormack had a distinguished career playing for the Otago Highlanders and The Chiefs in the Super 12 series and captaining Southland to an NPC title. He then played an important part in establishing Plymouth Albion as a leading club in National 1 in England. He was a very competitive Scrum Half who also captained New Zealand at U21 Level.
One of the all time All Black greats Josh Kronfield pays tribute to Brett in his autobiography with regards to his team ethos and attitude to the game of Rugby.
Graham Dawe the former England International and Plymouth Albion Director of Rugby states that it is immeasurable the effect that Brett McCormack had on the club, his professionalism, dedication and knowledge of the game are second to none. I for one am sad to see him depart.
