Steve Pape is a talented lock who at 27 years old is in good form having been selected in 2011 for England Counties v Ireland. Steve established himself with the Cornish All Blacks as a very committed forward who carries the ball well and is physical in defence. He is a front of the line jumper who secures his own ball and attacks the opposition making life very difficult. Steve is an individual who would fit into any professional outfit always a consistent performer who relishes the physical battle and hailing from Taunton in typical West Country fashion he does not take a step back. He was rewarded for a very good 2007-2008 season with selection for England Counties in 2008. He excelled on the tour to the USA and Canada and played in every match including the fixture against Canada 'A' . This was due to his physicality around the pitch,not surprising for someone who has represented GB as a Judo International on 18 occasions! Steve has played for Newbury Blues and Rosslyn Park and has recently signed for London Scottish.
