News - MC Sports negotiated the movement of young Second Row Glen Townson to Doncaster Knights for the 2009 - 2010 season. We are sure that Glen will be a major factor in continuing Doncaster's success. Glenn - “I would like to thank my agents MC Sports who have been excellent, supportive and always available". After a disappointing start Doncaster has recently turned the corner and Glen is one player who is earning great reviews with his consistently high performances. Congratulations go to Tinus du Plessis for helping Namibia qualify for the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand. Tinus was an outstanding performer in both legs of the World Cup African Play Off Final in November 2009 and stormed over for a try in the second leg to settle Namibian nerves and steer his country through to a fourth World Cup Final Competition. Tinus is already looking forward to a second successive finals competition and will be a key player for his country.
Uale Mai enhanced his reputation further by appearing in all three of Samoa's autumn 2009 Internationals against Wales, France and Italy.

Having resisted advances from Europe and other clubs in the UK Tinus has signed with the Titans for 2009 -2010, Tinus - “I have really enjoyed myself at Rotherham and feel the club is starting to move in the right direction. The way I have been received made me realise that I owed Rotherham at least another season. I do have aspirations to play at the very highest level either in the UK or in Europe. MC Sports have once again been first class; they always put my welfare and development as a priority”. Tinus has been a standout player for Rotherham this season and will be key to their success. Titan fans are hoping the RWC 2011 play off will not be a distraction for this all action back row player.
Nottingham tight head Petrus du Plessis has made a big impact since arriving in the summer of 2009 and we are pleased to announce he has been named Nottingham Player of the Month for October. This highlights further that Petrus is one of the outstanding tight heads in the Championship.

IRB World 7’s Player of the Year signs to MC Sports - Uale Mai the Samoan 7’s Captain and World 7’s Player of the Year in 2006 who was also nominated for this prestigious award in 2008 has appointed MC Sports as his official agent. Uale is very keen to play in Europe. This very talented Half Back is equally at home at 9 or 10. Uale helped Samoa qualify for the RWC 2011.Very experienced and with great skills it is hoped the player will be entertaining crowds in the Northern Hemisphere before too long.

England Counties 2008 “4 for MC Sports” - Tim Mathias, Steve Pape, Tom Jarvis and Mike Denbee were selected for the 2008 tour of USA and Canada. All four players featured against a USA select and a test against a Canada XV.
