Adrian Griffiths was an England junior international at 16 and 18 Group and followed this up with being capped at Student level. He signed for Bath and developed further during a two year academy contract. He is very comfortable jumping at 2 or 4 and is very athletic, strong and committed around the pitch. He has developed into one of the most skillful lineout operators in the Championship regularly stealing opposition ball and securing his own. Adrian made two senior appearances for Bath RFC before moving on to play for Newbury Blues in the Championship. After a brief spell in Italy he returned to Birmingham & Solihull for the 2010-2011 season. He has a good turn of pace and is well built and conditioned for a modern day Lock. He has the pace and ability to play at No8 and as a Blindside Flanker such is his versatility. This will be an added advantage for small professional squads.
Adrian has a degree from the University of Bath and is a committed individual who works hard in training and is supportive of colleagues. He is wanting to play in France at some stage of his career.
We can announce that Adrian has signed to Rotherham Titans for the 2011-2012 season.
