Alex Loney is a very physical mobile Hooker who has been contracted at Leicester Tigers and Nottingham RFC. He has a very accurate arm and was rated as one of the most accurate Hookers in National 1. He is a player who is well grounded in National 1 with over 100 appearances to his name. After 4 seasons with Nottingham RFC he wanted to experience playing abroad and has signed to play for Avignon in France for the 2009-2010 season.
