Craig McGrath has overcome a serious neck injury that kept him out of the game for 2 years. At the time he was a regular in the Scotland U21 Squad and had been picked in the Scotland A Squad. He is a very powerful mobile Hooker/Prop. He has a very good throwing arm and after a full season in National 2 with Bridgwater he is producing impressive performances in National 1 with Newbury, He is a good quality ball carrier and makes a high number of tackles equivalent to most back rows.  Craig has the ability and determination to play at a high professional level in the UK although he is keen to explore options in Europe. Having overcome a career threatening injury we are delighted that Craig is starting to full fill his early potential and under the guidance of Ben Sturnham we are confident that he will emerge as a stand out player this season.
