Ian Kench is an exciting prospect who standing at 197cm and weighing in at 113kg is a good height and build for a modern day athletic Lock. Ian has tasted the premiership with Sale Sharks and has over 25 appearances for Nottingham in the Championship during the 2010-2011 season. Ian has played in two Varsity matches for Oxford University at Twickenham and has also captained England Students. We feel that Ian is a leader on and off the pitch and will emerge as a leading second row. He is excellent in the lineout and is prepared to do the hard yards when required and uses his physicality to the full extent of his significant frame.
Ian has signed to Esher in the Championship for the 2011 - 2012 season.
