Luke Cozens is a very talented young English Fly Half who has played International Rugby for England at U20 level and has represented his county Somerset in the eite division of the English County Championships. Luke has been a full time professional with his home town club for the last two seasons but feels now it is time to move on to develop his career. Having come through the junior set up at Bath this has been a well thought out decision. Luke is a very good tactical Fly Half who has an eye for a gap, strong defence and a very high level distribution ability. A natural left footed kicker he strikes the ball cleanly and with a kick rate of 80% and an ability to slot goals from the halfway line with ease it makes him a very dangerous player. He is also a player who can ease his team away from danger with accurate long distance touch finders. Exposure at the Middlesex 7's in 2008 with Bath showed he has the composure to play at the very highest levels.
Luke signed for Cetransa El Salvador for the 2009 - 2010 season. He helped them to the Spanish League title and qualification for the European Challenge Cup in 2010 where he scored 218 points in 22 league and cup games.
Luke signed for the 2010-2011 season for CR La Vila in the Spanish Premiership teaming up with ex Cornish Pirates Head Coach Mark Hewitt. He again won the Spanish League title guiding CR La Vila to their first ever major trophy.
Due to his success in Spain Luke has signed with French federal club Olympic Grasse for 2011-2012. We feel that Luke will be ideally suited to playing in France.
