Matt Riley started his career at Sale Sharks and appeared in the Guinness Premiership and the Powergen Cup. He has also appeared in over 35 Guinness ‘A’ League fixtures and Captained Sale Sharks ‘A’ during the 2007 – 2008 season. He is a big strong presence who has very good technical skills and a useful boot to clear his lines in addition to a good turn of pace. Matt is looking to re-enter the professional environment and still harbours the ambition to be a regular performer in the Premiership. He has nearly 60 National 1 appearances with Sedgley and Doncaster Knights.
At some stage the player would like to experience playing in Europe.
