Petrus du Plessis is one of the most consistent performing tight head props in National 1. He has over 170 appearances to his name and he is only 27 years old. An enormously powerful scrummager he is a feared competitor with an outstanding reputation. He is also a very physical ball carrier providing excellent gains in all games. Petrus has been studying for the past four years in order to qualify as a physiotherapist and has been combining his studies with playing at Sedgley Tigers. Having completed his studies he is determined to carve out a professional career by concentrating full time on his Rugby. Petrus signed as a full time professional with Nottingham RFC before being snapped up by Saracens in 2010.
