Sam Pailor is a modern day forward who is versatile to play in the back row and at Lock. A good lineout operator he is a physical presence on the pitch. He is a powerful ball carrier who hits rucks well and looks to offload where possible. Very comfortable with kickoff returns he is athletic and hard working. Sam was involved with the Dragons Academy and has had a good grounding in order to play professional Rugby. Capped by Wales at U20 level and an EQP he is clearly a talented forward who we feel will carve out a professional career. After two seasons playing in the Welsh Premiership with Pontypool Sam joined one of the leading Championship sides Bedford Blues and quickly established himself in the match day squad with some impressive performances.
